Ashlyn got way more than the 12 they were suppose to get. She is awesome! The Fire Dept. puts on an Easter Egg Hunt at the Airport for the kids and this year was great! No Snow! Ash did well as you'll see near the end of the video. Just wanted to share it!

Caleb wasn't too scared of much! He would follow his dad up anything if given the chance I think. He was pretty excited to make it ALL the way up this technical part of Poison Spider, a trail just outside and across from the Moab Rim Trail. What a fun day we had. Caleb's bike's throttle stuck shortly after this part in the trail and we had to turn around and get a new throttle cable for the bike. Bummer cause it was a good trail and a good day to ride.

This is a really neat spot overlooking the Green River in Utah. We made it to this spot on the first ride and Brandon's foot was sore, sore, sore. His boots were just hiking boots, and the arch of his foot was bruised pretty bad. He was a trooper and kept on keeping on the rest of the week. It was a really nice warm day, and we enjoyed it A Lot!

Davy spent last week in Moab with the guys! He made it home in one piece...thank heaven's. Here are a few pictures of their journey. Next week for Spring Break he is taking us to ride down there. I got a motorbike for Christmas and Brandon got one for his Birthday, so we are getting excited to go and test them out! NO PROBLEM. Anyway, here is a video of the guys' trip...

We spent this last weekend down at Davy's mom's cabin at Bear Lake. Brandon's B'day was Saturday and he turned 11 years old. We invited the boys' cousin Jay Thueson, and Caleb's best bud, Karsten. We all had fun riding our motorcycles and swimming and boating in the lake. Brandon got a new motorcycle for his birthday this year. It seems from the picture like he is happy, which he was, but he ended up riding my 200 the whole weekend because he was worried about scuffing up his new bike. So, I got to ride it the whole weekend, and now I think I need a new bike for my birthday! It was an enjoyable weekend.

We went camping up to Meadow Lake again this year. I'm so glad we made it this year. We have spoken with the campground host a few times since our trip (he wants to buy our camper), and he said they are closing it to improve the road up to the campground Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed the view and smores!!

We were leaving Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone Nat'l Park and saw a Black Bear. There were two in the area and we were told by the Park Ranger that this was an aggressive bear and we needed to keep back, but the line of people and how close the bear actually was to us made it that much more fun! We have about 50 pictures and some video, so I picked a front view of the bear to share.

President Gordon B. Hinckley...
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

Twilight is coming to a movie near you!
I am crazy about Twilight! My friends have been telling me for so long about this book series about a young girl who falls in love with a vampire, and how great they are...these books aren't just great, they are FANTASTIC. I started the first book after dinner one night, and stayed up until 4:00am just to finish it. I couldn't put in down. The next day (Sat) I read ALL day, and finished up the 2nd book (New Moon) and am going crazy because I don't have my hands on a copy of the 3rd book, (Eclipse). I am wanting to wait for May 31st, when the special edition comes out with the first chapter of book 4 in it...AHHH! I am seriously crazy about these books. They are really fun to read, and make my heart just jump! If you've read them, I'm sure you know just what I mean and am talking about. Anyway, 11-21-08 is the day the movie comes out, and I'm sure it will be a hit. A big hit! I'll add the teaser trailer clip to my blog when I figure out how to do it!

...Kind of hard to see because it's so dark, but it's funny! Brandon is the last kid in line you'll see, acting really goofy! Of Course! Brandon participated in D.A.R.E. this year~He had to write a paper on what DARE meant to him, and he stated, "I don't want to use Drugs or alcohol because I want to play football, and using drugs would hurt me and my team!" He's an awesome kid!
This is a clip from Brandon's square dancing class. They performed today for us at school. It was pretty fun!
Not so coordinated "Fishin' in the Dark" Brandon didn't want this on the blog, but I couldn't resist! It's pretty funny!

This week has been so good! We've managed to get a few things done around the house. We got our garden in, flower pots STUFFED, weeds pulled, and the grass mowed. We have a couple dump truck loads of bark on there way, so if you are bored, come on over and we'll get you a rake! Ha Ha
We sold our lot in Cottonwood Hills, and Ash has been asking why we haven't been swimming, so that has made her a bit bored! We have a pool being built in our neighborhood around the corner, so when that is up and running, we'll be able to swim some more!
Overall, a good week! School is out next week! Hooray! Too bad it is raining today! Makes me feel like summer is a LONG ways off! We had 90 degree temps. yesterday, and 50 degrees today! WELCOME TO IDAHO!
Miss you all who are far away, and we look forward to some serious camping and fishing trips so call us up and we'll go!

This week has been good so far. We are getting ready for summer and have enjoyed many days playing and working in the yard. We have our sprinkler system finally all hooked up...it's only been like 4 years that we've lived here! The days of hand watering all of our plants and trees in the back are done! HIP HIP HOORAY! I jus' tan belid it!
We are planning some fun trips this summer and fall and are looking forward to them! We have a trip planned in June for camping. July holds a rafting trip and more camping, and in Aug. it's back to school! November is a cruise with lots of family and dear friends! We're so excited and counting the days!

Today we had a big melt after weeks of cold weather and lots of snow. In fact, we've created "Rain" in the boys' room! We have had to pull the carpet in the room, and have fans blowing to dry everything out...although the fans do no good because the ceiling is raining! We've had to set out buckets to catch the problem! The sheetrock is bubbling and the paint has some cracks where the water is setteling and dripping through. NICE! Hopefully Dave can to the bottom of it soon as it isn't looking so good! We'll keep you posted!
